Marc Martens, Founder and CEO

Marc is responsible for guiding the technology vision, as well as overseeing product development. With over 20 years of experience in the field of technology, Marc worked in software engineering roles at Swift and Alcatel-Lucent, prior to Lyncis.

During his 17 years at Swift, Marc has held various senior IT management positions where he was responsible for large software development shops. His professional expertise includes enterprise architecture, software design & development, systems & network management, security, databases, on-demand applications and advanced communications design & implementation. He has built an intimate knowledge of a wide range of technologies and applications, ranging from ERP, CRM, Provisioning, Mediation and Billing systems over Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence to ITSM, BSM, SLA management systems and e-commerce applications.

Marc has participated as a panelist and presenter at numerous conferences and industry events and has authored several publications. In 2005 Marc’s vision and leadership were recognized with the 2005 Trends ICT Gold Award for the most innovative IT solution.

Marc holds an MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of Antwerp, Belgium.
